- No. Credit packs are one-time purchases and the minutes stay on your account indefinitely. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
- What counts as a minute?
- Credits are charged against the duration of the audio you transcribe, rounded up to the nearest second. Editing, re-segmenting, translating, and exporting are all free — you only pay once per file transcribed. The free tier is also capped at 3 transcriptions a month, whichever limit you reach first.
- What happens if a transcription fails?
- The minutes are returned to your balance automatically. Credits are held while the job runs and only spent once it succeeds.
- Is there a free tier?
- Yes. You can transcribe a clip up to 5 minutes without an account, though downloading the file requires signing in. A free account gives you 15 minutes and 3 transcriptions every month.
